You also probably don’t want to live on a farm. And if you’re like me, you might want to go to the gym, have a drink, and pick up a couple of h**s on payday. Ahhh yeah, that sounds like the life. Well, if you’re a cousin f**ker like me, we have you covered with the Top 5 States With Affordable Rent.
West Virginia

Ahhhh f*** yeah. I’m drinking moonshine, rubbing my pot belly, and small b*lls in the middle of the town. I also drink soda for breakfast, and based on my educational background, I’m pretty confident that Ohio is located on the east coast. Can you guess where I’m at? Its West Virginia my friends. But seriously, if your budget is tight and you can’t deal with your crazy a** parents anymore, then “the WV” may be worth a look. According to zumper.com, the average rent for 1-bedroom in Charleston is $750. This is a 3 percent decrease, in comparison the average costs of rents there in 2022. Hey, I know you didn’t say when you were growing up “Mommy, my dream is to one day live in f**king West Virginia”, but It will help you get ahead financially. Use the crappy place to build your credit, and become more financially savvy. Listen, It may be a sh*tty place but at-least it has great scenery. Did you know that four provinces of the Appalachian Mountain system is in West Virginia? They consist of The Blue Ridge Mountains, the Allegheny Plateau, the Allegheny Mountains, as well as the Cumberland Mountains. West Virginia is solid choice. Thats if you can avoid h*cks and work remotely, so you can save some bread.

Hey, I never said these were the best places, I said they were affordable. And a broke b**** like me gotta save some coins. Ohhh kayyy. Chill, I was listening to Latto before writing this. You won the lotteryyyyy. Moving on. So now that we are on the same page, lets get into the next state. Indiana is located in the midwestern region of the country. It is a good option for those who want major city amenities, at an affordable price. Indiana has an average rental cost of $844, that’s about the same price of a f**king burger from hardee’s with inflation. The state is known for producing the highest number of professional basketball players per capita, in comparison to the rest of the nation. Besides big box retailers and strip malls, Indiana has interesting things to do. Indiana Dunes National Park, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Broad Ripple Park Carousel located inside of the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis just to name a few. Indiana doesn’t have a bad economy either. Over the past year, the state has outperformed the U.S. in capital gains. So, If you’re a Gen-Z or Millennial in need of a place to get you’re life together, Indiana maybe worth a glance.
Iowa

First of all, who the f*** has even been to Iowa? Can most of our beloved karens even point it out on a map? Can you do anything there, besides f*** cows and lick corn? Well, you’ll be surprised to know that this relatively misunderstood state actually has a lot to offer. With an average rent cost of $892, Iowa is a good state for affordable living. Sh** I think that’s about how much it cost to live on the sidewalks of manhattan. Iowa became the nation’s 29th state in 1846, and is known as the “Hawkeye state”. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking “What the f*** type of name is that?". Iowa’s Hawkeye state nickname was inspired by a Native American warrior named Black Hawk. You know what they say, “Black Hawk, Black D***”. I never thought I would grow up and teach people while saying out of pocket sh**, well actually I did. If you’re looking for city living, check out Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, and Davenport. Each city has its own distinct feel and vibe. Farming here is huge also. Did you know that Iowa ranks first in beef, pork, corn, soybean, and grain production? Just one family farm can feed up to 279 people! Iowa is a good choice for those who are seeking affordable living, as well as midwestern hospitality.
Arkansas

Diamonds Dancingggg, Diamonds Dancingggg. Well, now you know that I can’t f**king sing. This state is known for having the only active diamond mine in the country. I am known for having the smallest d*** in the county. Sorry, its like 82 degrees today, and I act a fool when It’s hot. Arkansas, which is the 25th state, was established in 1836. It also known for being a cheap f**king place to live. With a median rent of $934, why not give it a shot? To be honest, I didn’t know sh** about this state. I had to do some research. Plus, who the h*ll goes around talking about Arkansas? Want to go on hikes? I don’t care what anybody says, I love climbing mountains and watching a nice sunset. Yes, as ratchet as I am,I enjoy the simple things in life. Check out Hot Springs National Park for amazing views, and endless outdoor activities. Some of the popular areas in the Arkansas include Little Rock, Fayetteville, and Fort Smith. Arkansas is a great state for people who are broke as f*** like me, and want to find a new place to rebuild post-covid.
Wisconsin

Snow day in Madison, Wisconsin
Let me guess, its another h*ck state. You’re probably thinking..Jaheem you are full of sh*t. Everywhere you list is rural, surrounded by farms, and undesirable. Just because you like to f*** cows and lick chickens doesn’t mean I do. Well, after doing a lot of research myself about different cities, I’ve learned a lot about which factors are important to people. Since most people are working remotely, our priorities have changed. Today, people are often seeking affordability, access to everyday needs (being near a target, kroger etc.), safety, green spaces, larger living spaces, as well as entertainment. Wisconsin isn’t a place that sounds lit as f***, but It isn’t a bad choice. With a median rent of $954, you will actually be able to afford a f**king 6 piece spicy chicken nugget from Wendy’s after paying rent. Known for leading in dairy production, the state is known for cheese (watch a packers game and see d**kheads in the crowd with cheese hats) If you’re looking for affordable city living, I’ve got you. Check out Milwaukee, Madison, and Green Bay for a combination of excitement and midwest hospitality. Wisconsin has a lot to offer, with endless outdoor recreation, four seasons, and nice people.
